(Catching up on this one I didnt post earlier).
Jas finished our Batik painting! Harper in particular was very excited about this so we hired a car for the afternoon and went back to the Kraft Komplex to pick it up. So impressed with the finished product, we love it!!
Having the afternoon free, we decided to take a drive up Gunung Raya, Langkawi's highest mountain. A bit of a winding road, but lots of monkeys to see along the way. Apparently also the place for Giant Hornbills, but we werent lucky enough to sporlt any. The top was a bit odd as the tower is completely closed, which if open would have made for an amazing view of the whole island. Instead you can only see one side, and you better watch out for the unfinished barriers, with gaps of a perfect size for small kids to fall straight through! Thankfully we left with all kids safe, and with an obligatory tourist photo of all five of us!

Getting hungry, we stopped in Kuah for dinner and stumbled across a fabulous little arabic place (Ain Arabia restaurant and cafe). Simple, but the food was delicious, and the girls enjoyed the half-oscured view of the colour-changing Kuah Tower.
Another enjoyable but late day, so a few quiet relaxing days coming up!
